Top 7 Things To Do in Shoreditch

Shoreditch is an amazing part of London. It’s a great place to find inspiration, have fun and soak up some culture, including its world-famous street art. We love this area and we’re excited to share our top 7 things to do in Shoreditch. Enjoy the article and we hope you get some ideas for your next weekend out and about.

 1. Beigel Bake – for a quick bite

If you’re around Brick Lane shopping for some vintage pieces from the market (you won’t believe all the amazing things you can find there) or ending a night of partying. You might be on the lookout for a quick fix and we can’t recommend enough the Brick Lane Bagel shop called Beigel Bake. It’s open 24h and is so tasty, an absolute must try! The wait is worth it, and don’t be intimidated by the queue, it actually moves pretty quickly. We recommend the salt beef bagel with pickles and mustard, a classic

2. Columbia Road Flower Market – to treat yourself

Sometimes the little things really go a long way. Like buying flowers for your house, it brings so much light and instantly brightens up a room. You know you love them too! And the best place to buy flowers in London is in the well known Colombia Road Flower Market. Every Sunday merchants come for a few hours to offer visitors the most beautiful flowers. Some of them have had their stalls for over 40 years and they will amaze you with their stories and their jokes. Londoner tip: if you go just before they close they usually make really good deals and offer discounts on the flowers and plants left.

3. Boxpark – for the vibe

For a drink and a bite Boxpark is pretty cool. The place is made out of old shipping containers and each one has a different type of street food and all kind of drinks. Everything there is really tasty but you need to try the falafels from falafelicious (they truly are delicious)! The vibe is very laid back and cool, like pretty much everywhere in Shoreditch. It’s a great place to go with a group of friends for a good time out.

4. Victoria Miro Gallery – for inspiration

The Victoria Miro gallery is a hidden gem and a great place for all art lovers. You might have seen pictures of a room filled with bronze pumpkins all over Instagram. That was Yayoi Kusama’s magical exhibition, which made the gallery earn (even more) popularity. The Victoria Miro gallery displays amazing artists, you can have a look at their upcoming exhibitions here.

5. Shoreditch Sky Terrace – for a chilled night

Not only the view is stunning but the cocktails are even better. The Shoreditch Sky Terrace is the place where you want to spend your Saturdays soaking the sun (a rare sight), sipping on your drink and admiring a beautiful sight over the city. Put it on the calendar for when winter is over, it’s definitely worth a try.

6. Queen of Hoxton – for a night out

If you’re rather on the lookout for a good night out then The Queen of Hoxton is the place for you. It has three levels and there’s something for everyone in there from ping pong tables, walls covered in graffiti to an impressive roof garden. It’s definitely one of the most popular clubs in Shoreditch!

7. Dinerama – to stuff your face

Dinerama a.k.a the foodie heaven. If you like street food then you definitely need to check it out. All the food in that market is so good that the first time you go you might fall in the trap of literally getting everything. We can’t blame you. Let yourself go, enjoy the good music the DJ’s are playing, have a drink, try the mini doughnuts and enjoy a great atmosphere. Dinerama is one of those feel-good places and is an absolute must go if you’re around the area!
