Living in Leeds

Overview

Leeds is often considered Manchester’s younger sibling in terms of its cultural credentials, but with moderately low rent across the board and easily one of the best clubbing scenes outside of London, rest assured there are reasons a-plenty to prefer it. The general cost of living is comparatively cheap to the rest of the UK, and cool neighbourhoods are everywhere: the city centre boasts iconic Leeds eateries, watering holes and arts spaces; colourful Chapel Allerton has oft been referred to as the ‘Notting Hill of the North’, whilst somewhere more up-and-coming, like Holbeck, draws a hip crowd with its quirky bars, pubs and restaurants.
