Living in Bankside

Overview

Everyone knows of the South Bank, but what about Bankside? Located East of Blackfriars Bridge, it’s one of the oldest parts of London with a mixture of culture, history, architecture and food heaven. It’s a pretty buzzy atmosphere, and being located along the Thames, makes for an ideal spot. There are pubs and restaurants all along the river, restaurants waiting to be discovered and a whole host of shops.  It’s also home to Borough Market, the place full of fresh produce waiting to be bought and eaten, and of course, not forgetting, Tate Modern, the international and modern contemporary art gallery.
