Crystal Palace has a strong community vibe. Named after the great steel and glass structure, Crystal Palace sits on top of a steep hill and home to a huge variety of independent bars, cafes and restaurants. It’s also big on vintage, with vintage shops and stalls setting up camp on Sunday mornings, so you’ll never be short of a second-hand find. And once you’ve been browsing, you’ll be spoilt for choice with pubs to lose a few hours in. Still an up and coming area of London, Crystal Palace is one to keep an eye on for a place to settle in and call home.
