Living in Tooting

Overview

Tooting is buzzing, in many ways. First there’s the claim to fame with Sadiq Khan being born and bred (and apparently still seen out and about here). And secondly, for Tooting Bec Lido - which is the UK’s biggest freshwater swimming pool. Aside from these, the high street is vibrant and full of life, with endless curry houses, shops selling beautiful saris and a whole host of supermarkets selling fresh produce. Tooting has become something of recent years, with more young professionals moving this way thanks to the cheaper rent price, alongside a great food and drink scene. Some even call it the new Shoreditch. And we can see why people are heading towards Tooting.
